Spring 2015 Rumble Strip Roundup

Thomas Grinding, Inc. began work on SR 528 in Orange County, FL . This project took about a day and the rumble strip work by the Thomas Grinding was completed on 04/01/2015. This is the 10th time Thomas Grinding and Preferred Materials, Inc.

We are working with General Asphalt Company to add rumble strips to SR 826 Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade County, FL to make the finished project safer for drivers. This project will take place over about three nights and includes ground in rumble strips minimum 16” width in asphalt pavement. This is the 9th time Thomas Grinding and General Asphalt Company have worked together on a project and expect the project to go smoothly and result in safer roads for drivers in the region. The rumble strip work by the Thomas Grinding team should be completed on 04/16/2015.

Thomas Grinding, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will be working with Masci General Contractors to add rumble strips to SR 417 in Orange County, FL to make the finished project safer for drivers. This project will take just one night and includes ground in rumble strips minimum 16” width in asphalt pavement. This is the 1st time Thomas Grinding and Masci General Contractors have worked together on a project. The work should be completed on 04/30/2015.

We will be working with Prince Contracting LLC to add rumble strips to I-75 SWFIA in Lee County, FL. This project will take place over about two nights and includes ground in rumble strips minimum 16” width in asphalt pavement. This is the 2nd time Thomas Grinding and Prince Contracting LLC have worked together on a project and expect the project to go smoothly and result in safer roads for drivers on I-75. This project is scheduled to take about 2 days and should be completed on 04/10/2015.

We will be working with The De Moya Group, Inc. to add rumble strips to 869 Sawgrass Expressway in Broward County, FL to make the finished project safer for drivers. This project will take place over about three nights and includes ground in rumble strips minimum 16” width in asphalt pavement. This is the 4th time Thomas Grinding and The De Moya Group, Inc. have worked together on a project. We expect it to be completed on 4/15/2015.

Our crew will be working with The Lane Construction Corporation to add rumble strips to US 17; US 278 & SC 46 in Jasper County, SC. This is the 30th time Thomas Grinding and The Lane Construction Corporation have worked together on a project to make safer roads for drivers. This project is scheduled to take about 1 day and the rumble strip work by the Thomas Grinding team should be completed on 04/21/2015.

The TGI crews will be using a TR2000SC to complete the work described above.
